The Summer University in Social Work at a glance.
 
The Summer University in Social Work promotes exchanges between Faculty members and students from various countries, facilitates comparative analysis and research, stimulates new approaches in social work with the help of professors and experts from different countries (US, Canada, Italy, France, Belgium, Holland and Switzerland). The next Summer University in Social Work will take place in 2011.

The programs include lectures in social work topics given by experts from different
countries; workshops where students share experiences and ideas, develop social work projects; visit social work services and structures in Switzerland where they meet with professionals.
 
During 2010, the Summer University in Social Work is moving around the world to promote exchanges, to enhance partnerships with academic institutions and to prepare its next edition, from the 20th of June to the 1st of July 2011; it will address "gender and intergenerational relationships in social work issues".

Conferences, workshops and meetings with Faculty members and students will be organized throughout the year in Switzerland and in other countries: scientific journeys are already planned in the United States, Canada and India during the first semester of 2010.
